This document describes how to upgrade the firmware of MTS2400.

In order to burn the EEPROMs on the MTS2400, run the following command:

=======================================================================

From the ucode directory (cd to ucode)

1) MTS2400_i2c_set <dev name> -
	i.e ./MTS2400_i2c_set /dev/mst/calibre
This command sets the internal i2c hub.
Note: this command might returns an ERROR: I2C write error, slave=0x77: Timer expired
In such case you should run the command again.

2) ./is3burn -nofs -fw IS3FW.BIN -conf MTS2400-A00.INI -Special.BSN=<BSN> [-noread] -burn /dev/mst/calibre
Where <BSN> is the unique Board Serial Number of this MTS2400.

This command upgrades the firmware version on the MTS2400.

The last release of is3burn introduces special behavior for the following parameters:
   Special.sysimage_GUID, Special.node_descr, Special.Node_GUID.
If the board was burned in the past then these parameters are not changed by is3burn, unless -noread
flag is used. With -noread flag the parameters above are changed as any other parameter which appears
   in MTS2400-A00.INI file.

Command line has higher priority then the MTS2400-A00.INI file, allowing to override parameters
by giving them new values in the command line.

In order to successfully burn Node GUID, either Node_GUID or BSN parameters have to be initialized.
The Node_GUID parameter has higher priority, such that if both parameters have valid values
the value of Node_GUID is burned. The value of BSN is considered valid for Node GUID only
   if it matches Mellanox format.
The initialization can be done by changing the MTS2400-A00.INI file or from command line.

3) Reboot MTS2400 for firmware upload.
